Hi! I’m Jay Wallace, an operator angel who manages Cloud Platforms at DoorDash.

I invest in ambitious founders building a future where people work less, are better connected, and creativity is fostered.

I almost exclusively invest in companies within my own area of expertise. This includes dev tools, infrastructure, and security. Within that scope, my focus is on infrastructure simplication, reducing toil, and improving observability in pursuit of better reliability, security, and effeciency.

I am also an LP of a number of awesome funds: Cowboy, Essence, Weekend, ODX, and Cortado.
